Introduction to the crown settings collection

This collection of decorated stone settings is taking the look of stone setting for crystals few steps up!

Every jewelry designer has her classic and simple style jewelry collection that is quite basic but wonderful. These decorated stone settings with only one crystal or a pearl in the center are the perfect elements to use for creating a

classic jewelry collection.

Here you can see Cup Chain's crown stone setting collection

A few basic tips for working with these stone settings:
1. The easiest way to embed these settings is to use a plier tool because these brass prongs are not that easy to bend if you are using the prong pusher tool.
2. When you are working with the plier to bend the prongs you really must hold a piece of leather at the back side of the setting if you don’t want to damedg the metal or the crystal.
3. The prongs need a little push to bend, but you must be careful not to brake the crystal.
4. If you want the final result to look really good, look at the setting after you finish embedding and make sure all the prongs are straight and even.

These light weighted, high quality brass plated stone settings can easily become a beautiful jewelry piece, here are same inspiration for the way you can use them:

1. Flowers and leaves settings
This is a really nice version of the crown settings that has flowers and leaves all around to decorate the crystal that lying inside.

The crystals used for them are 14mm, 12mm SW white opal and the milky light pink glass stone, a really classic crystal colors that flatter the metal plating color.

2. Delicate frame settings
These delicate frame settings give the crystal a nice height and it has only four prongs that hold the crystal in its place.

The 12X12 square and 12mm Rivoli SW crystals used for them have a metallic shiny Rose gold and yellow gold finish that makes the settings and the crystals look like a beautiful one piece sparkly element.

3. Classic four prongs settings
This setting has a nice round shape, looking almost like a casting setting. It even has a lovely look from the back side.

The 12mm Rivoli and 12X12 square Black crystals that are embedded into these settings shows how nice and gentle the prongs hold the crystal in its place.

4. Hugging heart settings

These settings have a nice wave look of the prongs that hugs the crystals or pearls real nicely. But when you look at them from the side you see that these are cute heart shape prongs.

For these romantic settings, we used 10mm white and pink SW pearls and Antique pink 8mm Rivoli crystals.

5. Crown settings
In these settings, you can embed only Rivoli crystals that are less high than the chaton crystals.
These decorated prongs can really make the difference. The wonderful look that you get when you finish embedding the crystal in this setting, is just wow!

The most popular and classic crystals are embedded in these settings - SW Clear crystal and Golden shadow color and small shiny white SW pearls.

6. Decorated multi prong settings
These settings are designed for embedding chaton crystals, with a marvelous look of multi prongs holding the crystals and beautifully decorated sides.

Gold metal color always looks so good with light blue colors, so here you see 14X10 Aquamarine, 12X12 square Air blue opal and 12mm Rivoli lavender SW crystals.

Have fun creating your new classic jewelry collection with these truly gorgeous looking stone settings!
