Step 1: preparing your materials

 

Prepare your work environment.

 

Organizing your tools and materials will help you work faster and more efficient.

 

Silver Tie chain – 39cm long.

 

 

 

Step 2 : preparing the combined chain

 

In this necklace we will be creating a new chain by combining loops from two different chains.

 

Choose two kinds of chains in different platting the create a more reach and interesting look.

 

Open every third loop of the chain with the help of two plier tools.

 

Close the loop with the plier tool.

 

Make 15 small parts of this round loop chain.

 

Open with the help of two plier tools the big oval loops.

 

Close the oval loop to connect two small parts of the rose gold chain.

 

Connect between all of the chain parts to make a 40cm long new chain.

 

This chain ends with two big oval loops at each end.

  

 

 

Step 3 :connecting the chains

 

Hang the tie chain with the new combined chain.

 

Use 8mm jump rings to connect the two chains together.

 

Connect the clasp on one side and then hang the metal label and Swarovski stone, on the other side.

 

 

 

 

Step 4 : hanging the stone settings

 

Place the pear shape stone settings around the chain.

 

Use 5mm jump rings to connect the pendents on to the cup chain.

 

The stone settings hangs from the middle round loop of the rose gold chain.

 

 

  

 

 

Step 5 : setting the stones

 

Place the stone in the center of the stone setting and with the help of the setting tool bend the prongs towards the stone in order to embed it.
