See how to use these specially designed stone settings to make a crown of beads around it.
You can find several sizes of these round stone settings - 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 18mm and 27mm. There are also 12mm and 14mm round stone settings for earrings that have loops like that.
Step 1: Choosing the right size of beads
First you need to plan, so you need to choose beads and see How many of them you need to use around the stone setting.
Place the beads around the stone setting and see how many you need.
Arrange them to see if you need to use smaller or bigger beads to fill the space between the metal loops, and make sure it will make a nice round circle around the stone setting.
If you have a small gap between the beads you can hang small metal loops to cover the string.
Step 2: Making a circle of beads
Slide two or three beads on the cord, then slide each end of the string through the loops on each side of the stone setting. Continue to slide more beads until you reach the large loop at the top of the stone setting and make a strong knot.
Bring the Lighter closer to the edge of the cord so the wax will melt a little and would be sealed strongly.
Step 3: Embedding the crystals
You can make the pendant more interesting if you connect more stone settings, charms or tassels with a on the string.
Place the Swarovski crystals in the stone settings and bend the metal prongs with the prong pusher.
Step 4: Finishing the necklace
Side a few more beads on the eye pin, and use the round nose plier to make a loop at the other end of it. Now you can connect the eye pin to the metal chain and to the loop at the top of the pendant.
Have fun creating a new jewelry each day!
