Here we made some quick necklace designs using the new plastic pendants and connectors, to show you how your jewelry pieces can look a bit more interesting when you add even just one plastic element.
You can see that the matt silk finish of the black plastic elements works really well with any other metal plating color, if it’s Antique cooper, silver or brass, nickel, black or rose gold - Whichever you choose to work with.
The best thing about these plastic elements is that they already have a volume, texture and color of their own, so you really don’t need to use so many elements to create a really nice looking finished piece of jewelry - a metal chain, one casting element, a tassel or small stone setting will do the work!
Here you can see some examples of the way you can connect and combine these elements with metal casting parts, chains, a crystal here and there, and their final urban, casual and stylish look you can create in just a few minutes.
You will need to use the 8mm jump rings in order to connect between the elements, but you can also use the large size loops of different metal chains to make it even more interesting.
These elements are great for gluing on them, as you can see the plastic bar pendant is a perfect base for gluing metal casting elements or Flatback crystals, even a 39ss setting with rhinestone around it that I cut off the top loop is easily glued in the center of the plastic snowflake to make it a cute Christmas pendant!
Have fun finding more ways to use these plastic elements in your creations!
